KELLER Pressure is expanding its product portfolio with pressure transmitters featuring ATEX approval for Zone 2 hazardous areas. The new variants comply with device category 3G and are suitable for use in potentially explosive gas atmospheres.
The new variants are based on proven standard products and complement the existing range where no special design (Zone 0/1) is required, but ATEX certification for Zone 2 is required.
The Zone 2 variants offer the same high measurement accuracy, long-term stability, and flexibility as the corresponding standard versions and are marked with the type “En” in the KELLER Pressure product range. Thanks to the modular product design, customer-specific requirements can continue to be implemented efficiently.
The Zone 2 variants are particularly suitable for applications in plant and mechanical engineering, in the process industry, and in hydrogen systems where ATEX approval in accordance with 3G/Ex ec is required.
