SIKA presents stainless steel vortex flow sensors for data center cooling

SIKA Dr. Siebert & Kühn GmbH & Co. KG presents its stainless steel version of the vortex flow sensors specially developed for highly sensitive flow monitoring in the rack cooling of high-performance servers.

The increasing performance of the latest server processors, for example for AI applications, makes direct water cooling at the rack and in central distribution units (CDU) a necessity. “Especially in high-performance IT, cooling performance is crucial to the availability of the data center. A precise flow sensor protects against fatal failures,” said a SIKA spokesperson. The new stainless steel version of the Vortex series was developed specifically for these requirements; it combines maximum measuring accuracy with tested tightness and extreme durability for 24/7 continuous operation.

In addition to the standard product, the focus is also on customization: “Our strength is close co-engineering with our customers. This results in joint solutions that can be precisely integrated into existing systems — a decisive advantage, especially for sensitive applications such as server cooling,” the company emphasized.
