Servomex appoints new technical director

Servomex has appointed Dr. Nic Davidson as Technical Director from 1st December 2024.

In his new role, Dr. Davidson will be responsible for delivering Servomex’s product roadmap and spearheading the development of future technologies to support the company’s ambition to further enhance its gas analysis solutions.

Dr. Davidson has experience in senior leadership positions and leading teams, most recently as R&D director for the Bio-Physical and Thermal Centre of Excellence for Servomex’s sister company, Malvern Panalytical. Previous roles with Malvern include Chief Engineer (North America), Technology Leader and Principal Systems Engineer.

“Nic has a wealth of experience in leading high performing, geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams to deliver analytical solutions and world-class products through innovation and collaboration.

“This key role in the executive leadership team will help drive us as industry leaders, delivering world-class products and technologies to support our three pillars of a cleaner, healthier and more productive world,” said James Gravestock, President.

Dr. Davidson’s strong industry experience is backed by academic success with a Ph.D. in molecular physics and instrumentation and as a research fellow in the Department of Physics at Leeds University and then Stuttgart University.
