Chell Instruments release new high range pressure scanner

With 32 acquisition channels and high precision digital transducers, the new microDAQ3-32-HP provides accuracy and records differential and absolute pressures within high-scope measurement applications.

“The microDAQ3 range has been a significant innovation in the field of pressure scanning technology, using high accuracy digital sensors in combination with advanced processors and sophisticated thermal compensation to gain the most accurate results. Our new 32 channel microDAQ3 model is suitable for use in high range applications that experience substantial pressure variations, recording unparalleled data quality up to 0.02% of full scale” said Jamie Shanahan, director of Chell Instruments.

Correctly installed, the microDAQ3-32-HP outputs differential or absolute compensated engineering unit pressure data over Ethernet, CAN and IENA at speeds up to 400Hz per channel.

In addition to this, the transducer can almost entirely compensate for any thermal effects over its wide operating range when combined with two 24-bit ADCs per port for both pressure and temperature.

As an optional extra, Chell Instruments is offering the microDAQ3-32-HP with an electrically driven valve that gives the scanner a purge and re-zero facility.

“The valve has been years in development and features precise positional measurement and current monitoring to ensure even greater reliability for the microDAQ3-32. The optional purge and re-zero function provide users with an added level of assurance in high-demand applications, allowing for easy maintenance and enhanced accuracy over time” added Jamie.
